Korean Childhood Games
Privacy Policy
Effective September 30, 2026
Korean Childhood Games operates Korean Childhood Games, collects only necessary information, and handles user data with care.
1. Information we collect
- Google sign-in: email address, name and profile-image URL
- Signup consent: the version and time of the terms and policy you agreed to, and whether you chose to receive news about events and offers
- Game use: nickname, match records, Jjondigi history, chat messages and access-restriction records
- Support: reply email address and inquiry content
- Automatically generated data: access logs (IP address and browser information) and cookies used to keep you signed in
2. How we use it
- Sign-in and account management
- Running games, storing records and issuing rewards
- Preventing abuse and enforcing restrictions
- Responding to support inquiries
- News about events and offers, only if you agreed to receive it
3. Retention and deletion
You can delete your account from My account. This signs you out on every device, changes the nickname visible to others to “Deleted member,” and removes the profile image.
You cannot rejoin for 24 hours after deletion. After that, signing in with the same Google account within 5 years restores your match history, Jjondigi and nickname.
The information below is retained for 5 years from account deletion as transaction evidence. When that period ends, the email address, Google-account link and previous profile are destroyed. Recovery is then impossible, and the same Google sign-in starts a new account.
- Email and Google-account link: 5 years — identifying transaction parties
- Jjondigi payment and grant records: 5 years — Korean Electronic Commerce Act
- Inquiries and replies: 5 years — Korean Electronic Commerce Act (statutory period: 3 years)
- Match and access-restriction records remain under an anonymous nickname because they are also records of other participants
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal data or provide it to other people or companies, except when required by law.
We use the services below to operate Korean Childhood Games. They are overseas companies, so data may be stored on servers outside Korea.
- Supabase — database and sign-in
- Vercel — website hosting
- Google — Google account sign-in
5. Cookies
We use cookies that keep you signed in and browser storage that remembers sound and dialog settings. We do not use advertising or visitor-analytics cookies.
6. Children's data
We process personal data of children under 14 only with consent from a parent or legal guardian. Children under 14 should use Korean Childhood Games only after obtaining that consent.
7. Your rights
You may ask at any time to view, correct or delete your data, or to stop its processing.
You can change your nickname and delete your account from My account. Email us for other requests, and we will handle them without undue delay.
8. Security
All communications are encrypted with HTTPS, database access is limited to each user's own information, and administrator privileges are restricted to the operator.
